7-DAYS OF SELF-LOVE

How is your confidence and self-worth lately? Is it not as high as you would like it to be? You deserve love as much as anyone else. It’s time to prioritize yourself. By doing so, you will discover your own wants and needs and honor them. You will no longer seek approval of others and get rid of the things that honor rather than harm you. You will no longer need to seek happiness from others because you enjoy your own company. The experience is liberating.

I have created a 7-day experience for you to improve your self-love. These are things that I need to do every once in a while. Sometimes I go through periods of having less self-confidence and have to practice some self-love. Can you relate?

Here are the 7-days of self-love.

MONDAY:Start the week and morning off right with a quick and gentle yoga routine. It doesn’t need to be a challenging routine, just something to gently move your body and stretch before beginning the day. My favorite place to find routines is on YouTube. As a bonus, you could light some candles and finish off with a meditation.  If you find a good one, share it in the comments section below.

TUESDAY: Start a morning journal to write down something you are grateful for and something you are proud of yourself for.

WEDNESDAY:Go through your social media and remove anyone who doesn’t make you feel good about yourself or brings positivity to your feed.

THURSDAY: Write down 10-things you like about yourself. There should be a combination of both physical and emotional things on your list.

FRIDAY:Time to end the week with a pampering bath. You can make a bubble bath, put on a face mask, a cuticle pusher, some soft music, candles, and a glass of wine. Whatever, sounds enjoyable to you, do it! Take some time for you.

SATURDAY:Get out of the house and go do something you enjoy doing. This can be a hike, play a sport, go see a movie, go out to dinner, meet a friend, etc.

SUNDAY:Take 15-minutes of your day to sit with a cup of tea and listen to some personal development podcasts, books, or YouTube videos. Something that will help you grow.
